When we set out to design our first collection, we weren’t just thinking about aesthetics. We were thinking about longevity. Jewelry that would keep its brilliance not just for weeks or months — but for years. Pieces that wouldn’t sit in a drawer, but would become part of someone’s daily ritual. That meant we had to go far beyond traditional materials and methods. Every detail had to be deliberate. Every decision rooted in durability, comfort, and quality.
At XÈVEUX, every piece begins with research. Countless hours go into testing, comparing, and refining. We asked ourselves: what material could offer everything — beauty, strength, and skin-friendliness? After endless prototyping and consultations with experts in metallurgy and jewelry production, we made our choice: 304 Stainless Steel.
This material isn’t just a standard. It’s a powerhouse. Known for its corrosion resistance, toughness, and hypoallergenic nature, 304 Stainless Steel is often used in surgical tools and high-end kitchenware. It also holds its shape beautifully — so no bending, snapping, or losing form over time.

To protect the shine and color even further, we use PVD coating (more on this in Blog 4). It’s a game-changer. Where traditional gold-plated jewelry fades and tarnishes after just a few wears, our PVD-coated stainless steel stands strong through water, sweat, perfume, heat, and time. The design process is just as intentional. We’re not here to follow trends or flood you with endless collections. Our designers work closely with production to make sure every sketch translates into a piece that fits like a second skin. We test everything. How does it feel on the wrist? Does the necklace layer easily? Can you sleep in it, sweat in it, live in it?
